Realistic small unit tactics should result in accurate military outcomes.
However, certain liberties regarding force ratios are taken for the sake of playability.
In these scenarios, the rules should be applied logically. Although the rules may not specifically address every possibility, common sense should always prevail.
Whenever a rule seems to contradict common sense, abandon the rule.
