Description

This is a free Print and Play game, containing 7 PDF files. It is a fully developed and comprehensive game of armored warfare of WW2.

Tank Board Game II is a tank game covering most WW2 European tank battles; from Poland 1939 to Germany 1945. The attacker's goal is to destroy the defender’s towns or exit his tanks off the gameboard edge, while the defender's goal is to destroy the attacker’s HQ. Players take turns moving their units on a grid and firing their guns. The game also plays very well as a solitaire game.

The game uses a new micro-detailed yet hyper-quick hit/penetration system so players can focus on playing the game instead of spending time calculating shots. This makes it easy to have tank battles with 40-50 units with each vehicle having a different plate for: Hull/Turret; Front/ Side/ Rear/ Top; instead of just one ‘defense-factor’.

All equipment data, both Axis and Allied, is listed on one 8 ½ x 11” data sheet for each front/year combination. This combines multiple data tables and, along with the color-coding for armor thickness and gun penetration, greatly speeds shot resolution and game play.

The eighteen tables cover most WW2 European tank fronts and includes over 130 vehicles and 30 artillery types. Artillery is quick and detailed with national differences, flash/sound-ranging, time-on-target, and other rules. Air units are also well developed with 19 different air unit types.
