Team de Torite is a team-base trick taking game for 4, 5, or 6 players. Much of the game resembles a must-follow, no-trump, partnership game with bidding for the number of tricks a team will win. However, the game has a few twists.
In addition to a base of 4 suits, the game includes a fifth "special" suit of cards which constitute the trump cards and the lowest value card. Trump cards of the same value will cancel each other in a trick if present in even numbers, leaving the last one played to win a trick if an odd number are played.
The teams place their bets on a board where if one team bids a high number, the other team will be limited from bidding a specific low number. Additionally, each of the values a team can bid has a multiplier for how it will pay out, and the teams are placing chips face down on the different spaces, giving a different weight to their confidence in each of their bets.
The team with the most points when one team reaches 150 points wins.
