Swords & Glory vol. 1: Tékumel Source Book is a reference work required for science fantasy roleplaying in M. A. R. Barker's world of Tékumel. The 136 page book describes in incredible detail the astronomical data, early history, historical empires, ethnology, clans, religion, magic, social groups, organizations, customs, arts, and major languages.
The Gamescience box set also includes a mapsheet comprising four maps showing most of the Five Empires (26.75 x 21 inches), and advertisements for volumes 2 and 3, miniature figures, Qadardalikoi miniatures rules, and Curtis Scott's Gateway to Tekumel play by mail game.
The book was reprinted separately as Tékumel Source Book (Box Set).
