Tellatale is a world created during an event called the Grand Conjunction. This event fused together a number of disparate fairy tale worlds causing havoc for the transported beings, and creating strife between the new neighbors.
The campaign setting details a continent made up of zones based on the works of the Brothers Grimm, Baum, Barrie, classic Chinese and Japanese mythologies, and more!
Never Neverland: Ruled by the amoral creature known as the Pan, Neverland is the domain of the Lost Children: adolescents stolen from across the cosmos. It is also populated with pixies, pirates, and a tribe of technologically advanced humans.
The Land of Oz: Oz is known for the creation of living constructs. It is divided in to four sections, each controlled by a High Witch. Together with the fabled Wizard of Oz, the High Witches make up the Council of Oz which rules the Zone.
Wonderland: A chaotic dictatorship ruled by the Red Queens, Wonderland's geography can change in a heartbeat. It is said Wonderland connects to all worlds, so a visitor can find great adventure there, as long as they don't lose their head.
The Black Forest: Before the Conjunction, the Black Forest was an alliance of four kingdoms bonded in peace. The chaos of joining with Tellatale spelled disaster for the kingdoms, plunging the Zone largely into anarchy. It is a land of rugged adventure, giants, dwarves, and witches.
Shinozon: Ruled by the Jade Emperor and his nobles, Shinozon's archipelago is an ancient empire mired in political intrigue and assassinations. The mainland of the Zone is a dangerous realm filled with oni and shapechangers.
The Grand Library: Not part of the continent, it is debatable if the Grand Library counts as a Zone. This shrouded island is home to a group with the ridiculous belief that all the inhabitants of Tellatale are works of fiction brought to life. While they are mocked for this belief, no one can deny their powers; which can re-write someone's being or destiny.
Travel between the zones, or you can treat it as five full campaign settings!
