Description
Tempo was Wolfgang Kramer's first published game. In it, each player is given a hand of cards that will affect the movement of six colored pawns. Based on this hand, players place bets regarding the outcome of the race. Players then proceed to play their race cards to try and ensure their bets were correct.
Tempo is the abstract predecessor of Wolfgang Kramer's Auto-Racing card system. Later games in this family include: Top Race, Detroit-Cleveland Grand Prix, Daytona 500 and Downforce.
