Description
Tengai Makyō: Dai-yon no Mokushiroku - The Apocalypse IV was released in 1997 and is the first "Far East of Eden" game that is set outside of the Japan-like country of Jipang, instead being set in a skewed version of 1890's North America rife with anachronisms and pop-culture references. The gameplay is similar to previous entries except that there are no random battles. Instead, enemies are seen visibly wandering the world map and dungeons.
A PSP port was also released in 2006. Unlike most PSP ports, which scale the resolution to fit the PSP screen, blurring it in the process, the developers zoomed out the display, so the pixels are in the same ratio, but you can see more of the field.
