For five magic items from the Dungeon Master’s Guide I have written up legends that connect them to Thassa, Theros goddess of the sea. Each item also has a description of its unique appearance that helps set it in the world of Theros. They each come with a property and quirk that tie into its legend and set the item apart from the generic versions.
The items in this product are the Cap of Water Breathing, the Decanter of Endless Water, the Pearl of Power, the Ring of Water Walking, and the Trident of Fish Command. This product does not provide the mechanics for the magic items, which can already be found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide. The purpose of this document is to make the items feel more deeply connected to the setting.
