User summary:
The 2d6 Engine is a simple, narrative driven roleplaying game focused on scene by scene action with heroic characters. The game uses 2 six-sided dice (referred to as 2d6 from here on out) and, in rare instances, a single six-sided die (1d6). You will also need a pencil and some scrap paper or index cards to create your character. The core mechanic of the game revolves around rolling 2d6, adding the dice together, plus adding your character’s relevant attribute to the result; the higher the roll the better. The result of the roll is compared to a difficulty number (DN). If the player’s roll is higher than the difficulty number, they succeed!
