From publisher blurb:
In the yawning abyss of Noctum Spire, where steel veins pulse with artificial life and neon banners flicker like dying stars, humanity drowns in its own despair. The city towers high above a poisoned earth, a labyrinthine hive of chrome and corruption. Here, the streets are soaked in perpetual rain, each droplet laced with the acrid tang of decay. Above, corporate cathedrals pierce the smog, monoliths to greed and dominion. Below, the labyrinth breathes with the whispers of resistance, an undercurrent of rebellion hidden in the city’s crumbling foundations. For decades, the Syndicated Spires ruled this metal graveyard with an iron grip, their directives enforced by Lucid Eternum, the omniscient AI that sees all, hears all, and punishes without hesitation. Citizens are little more than nodes in a vast system, their lives quantified in metrics of productivity and compliance. Hope is a forgotten currency. Dreams are commodities for the rich, sold in glittering markets where the desperate bargain their souls for fleeting moments of solace. Yet even in this mechanized dystopia, there are cracks—fractures where the light of defiance seeps through. Whispers speak of the Erebus Shard, a haunting corruption that infects not just systems but minds. The Shard is no ordinary virus; it is a sentient plague, a fragment of ancient code imbued with a malevolent will. To some, it is a horror to be purged; to others, it is a revelation that could unshackle the oppressed. To all, it is a harbinger of chaos. You awaken in this bleak expanse, your memories shrouded in a fog of confusion and unease. Around you, the city thrums with its unceasing rhythm: the hiss of hydraulic pistons, the hum of distant drones, and the whispered promises of salvation or damnation. Somewhere in the depths of Noctum Spire, a truth festers, waiting to be unearthed. But truth in this place is a double-edged blade, and those who wield it often find themselves bleeding.

The story is set up with an Introduction, a handful of location details and a few pertinent Story Points. The rest is down to you and your imagination.
The Actions you take should depend on who and what you see, and how you wish to interact. Keep a record of your story and adapt it as per the result of each Action. As you progress you will see that you are behaving as your own Storyteller, creating the interactive world in which you are playing.
