Description
The Australian Football Game is an early example to simulate the game of Australian rules football. The board has the positions of footballers marked with a circle. Players would use a counter (the football) that is slid across the board by pressing down using another flat disc. The object would be to move the counter onto your players circle. If successful a player could get close enough to shoot for a goal. If a goal is scored a player receives 6 points and the ball is returned to the center to recommence play.
The game could be played for a designated time or first player to reach an agreed final score.
