Description

Publisher's blurb:

The Author and The Sea is a mystery for Vaesen - Nordic Horror Roleplaying Game that takes place in a quiet little fishing village in Western Denmark. An author has gone missing, and as the Society begins its exploration they are slowly drawn into a deeper and more dangerous mystery and soon their own lifes may be at stake as they confront a Vaesen never encountered before.

The mystery plays out near the lighthouse Hanstholm - An Alternative Base in Jutland, though it can easily be played with Castle Gyllencreutz or Ravnholm Estate.

The mystery draws upon the folklore of the Strandvarsler but also another Vaesen, which is introduced here for the first time. The mystery can be played in one or two sessions, and it is suited to be played with either just one player, one group or a combination of one player and one group.

The Author and The Sea introduces a new Contact, a mysterious tome, and a new Vaesen. The mystery is the second part of the Hanstholm trilogy. The first part is The King and The Lighthouse.
