From the introduction:
Seawatch has fallen, but all is not lost. Nyrond’s troops are balanced precariously on the Claw Point Peninsula, semi-trapped between the outpost they are striving to recapture and the massive undead army swarming out of the catacombs all around them. A call has gone out to the heroes of Nyrond to help the troops and defeat the Nerullian army of undead that has nested within the sovereign realm.
