The Battle of Doumyouji and Konda

Game ID: GID0321208
Collection Status
Description

This battle occurred the day before the battle for Osaka Castle, where the Toyotomi clan fell in the 'Osaka Summer Battle (1615)'.

It is a reenactment of the battle in which Goto Matabei and Sanada Nobushige (Yukimura) and others attempted to intercept and gain the upper hand against Tokugawa Shogunate forces invading the Kawachi Plain from the Yamato and Kishu areas at Domyoji and Komoda, located south of the Yamato River in southern Osaka.

The game is made in government postcard size (100 mm x 148 mm) and was distributed as a special offer when purchasing products from online shops in Japan.

The game map and pieces to be used are printed inside the postcard size, the pieces can be cut out and played, and the rulebook can be viewed via QR code or web address.

The Battle of Yao and Wakae, which occurred on the same day as this battle, was also published simultaneously as a postcard game, and the two games can be linked together (the maps are not actually connected, but the game is played on two sides at the same time).
