The first Knutepunkt-series book, called The Book, was published in conjunction with Knutepunkt conference in Norway 2001. The annual Knutepunkt LARP conference rotating between four of the Nordic countries had done first full circle and to celebrate this The Book was published. The Book became available online for free via Claus Raasted's effort in 2012 and can be downloaded as PDF from Rollesplisakademiet website. Rollesplisakademiet has no other affiliation with The Book, it was sposored by Isabel Cunen Rynning and
The Book is a collection of articles about LARP scene, conventions and rules in Nordic countries and US. It also has Vows and Manifestos for LARP-GMs to follow for gaining better gaming experience.
