"The British Are Coming!" is a set of miniatures rules for gaming smaller actions of the American Revolutionary War. The rules are designed for 15mm figures, though alternate basing for 25-30mm figures are included. The game is scaled for 1 figure = 25 men or 1 gun. The ground scale is 1" = 30 yards. The rules are designed so that multiple players can play on each side, with each player commanding 6-8 units. Units are composed of infantry battalions (3-20 figures), cavalry squadrons (2-5 figures) and artillery batteries (1-4 guns).

1. Command phase
a. First move determination
b. Remove markers
c. Leader movement
d. Rallying
e. Rout movement
f. Activation
2. Side one movement phase (side two units may react)
3. Side two movement phase (side one units may react)
4. Fire phase
5. Charge and melee phase
