Description

Publisher's blurb:

A Ready to Roll module for the Brotherhood of Cain: Through the Looking-Glass, a Forged from GRAM saga of supernatural horrors and dubious morals clash as Queen Victoria's watchdogs illuminate the shadows with the torches of wisdom… or the fires of wrath.

Like many Brotherhood of Cain scenarios, The Trial of Leonora McKinnon has no clearly defined “right” answer and is designed to make the players think about their position in the world and how their vision is best executed. Leonora McKinnon is being accused of being a witch… and of being a murderer. The Brotherhood ended the Thread of the Moon coven, but one sister escaped and Leonora matches the description all too well. The focus of this scenario is to present the players with a moral experience for them to work through and a suspect that needs to be judged. Is Leonora guilty by nature of being a witch in a closed-minded world? Was she a member of the Thread of the Moon? If she was, did making a couple of candles make her guilty of murder? How the players decide to deal with this is entirely on their shoulders, as are the consequences; the Brotherhood of Cain whom they work for has little say in the details of the work of its agents, other than the mandate to make problems go away.
