You have ventured through the heart of the Groslen woods to discover that the rumored village of Farthis is indeed a reality. Upon discovering a drop chute that leads into the darkness after slaying what seemed to be the guardian to what lies below, you now stand before the menacing hole in the earth. You kick a rock into the chute only to hear a faint “tink” about 25 seconds later. You estimate the hole to be about 200’ deep. The rungs on the chute seem sturdy.
