Description
This is a tier 1 (level 3-4) adventure about a strange new cult who kidnaps cityfolk. None of them have ever escaped or been seen again. The cult's lair is in an old ruined part of town in an underground complex known as the Chapel of the Ancients. It is an old construction built by an earlier civilization. The strange stone idol (see cover) in the altar hides a terrible secret. Its influence has caused the creation of the cult. It is not just a statue. Something terrible inside tries to crawl out to freedom, little by little.
This adventure has it all. There are roleplaying opportunities, underground exploration, and a BBEG mage with obscure intentions.
