The Colour of Money Electronic Board Game

Game ID: GID0324905
Collection Status
Description

One of twelve Money Target Amount Cards is drawn at random. These cards range in amount from £49,000 to £80,000. When playing multiplayer, the player to reach this target amount in ten turns or fewer is the winner. When playing solitaire, reaching this target amount in ten turns is a victory.

There are twenty Colour Money Cards which represent the twenty cash machines from the British television game show. Each card represents a different payout ranging from £1,000 to £20,000 in £1,000 increments.

A turn begins by choosing a Colour Money Card and logging in the card’s number into the electronic Money Module. Every player puts one hand on the Money Module. It begins to count up from £1,000 in £1,000 increments. Any player who stops the module before it reaches its payout limit adds the amount when the device was stopped to one’s own score. Any player who waits too long receives nothing.

Even though the television series has one player playing against the house, this is a faithful adaption of the series.
