The Influencing Enjin has been the only thing saving the Draconis Empire from the onslaught of the Burrowers. The greatest minds in the Empire are struggling to construct more of these devices to rescue their embattled colonies, seeking further out than ever before for allies and for some relief from their siege. But that’s not all that is happening, as The House of Dukes are busy electing another Emperor-for-life after the death of Agnes IV, and all looks like it’s going quickly to pot, what?
The 4 to 6 PC characters represent the best and the brightest of the Draconis Empire (no matter what the dullards think) and are quested by the Regent, Grand Duke Sir Harvey Warwick to take charge of the trifling matters while the Enclave gathers to appoint a New Emperor.
What perfidy and mayhem can possibly result while the PC’s are in charge, what issues that only they, with their Empire Security Clearance, may be called on to resolve while the future of the Empire is being deliberated? Only time will tell.

In this sequel to the linked Module ‘The Influencing Enjin’ the tale of the Burrowers War and the failing of The Spell of Preservation is brought to a jolly good conclusion. A linked Module written for 3.x D&D Fantasy rules, using a modified D20 lite system for ease of play, in The Hollow World Basic D&D Campaign setting.
