Description

From publisher blurb:

The Spicy Tales of Robert E. Howard

Toward the end of his life, Robert E. Howard (1906 - 1936) abandoned the fantasy genre he helped create in favor of other genres, such as westerns, action-adventure, mysteries, and "mature audiences" stories that saw print in the pages of Spicy Adventure Tales Magazine.

The Conquests of Wild Bill Clanton presents the two best of these decidedly sleazy stories, in which the title character emerges as the nominal hero for no reason other than the other men featured are far more monstrous.

In addition to the classic fiction from the creator of Conan, the book contains OGL d20 talent trees, feats, and other game mechanics such as rules for drunkeness and combat-related "wardrobe malfunctions" geared toward capturing the atmosphere of Wild Bill's escapades, as well as those of other Howard-created heroes such as Steve Costigan, Breckinridge Elkins, and El Borak.
