Description

from the back cover:
Bretonnia for WFRP

Between light and shadow, our Bretonnia is a corrupt Ancient Regime setting strongly inspired by French culture and period movies. Even though some parts of it seem modern, the country as a whole remains deeply archaic. Chaos is there of course, but it is only a small part of the overall picture of this rotting, vice-riddled but once glorious Kingdom.

Offering a great range of roleplaying possibilities, Bretonnia is an extremely exciting place to base your WFRP adventures in. For within this realm, you will find : arrogant nobles, ignorant peasants, corrupt officials, not quite so virtuous as you thought knights, unfrocked priests, hopeless idealists, desperate thieves, sophists and bigots in great numbers, few dedicated writers, monsters and saints, witches and witchhunters, privateers and pirates, spies and patriots, daring adventurers... and the Guisoreux mob.
