From the introduction:

There is a land forgotten by the gods of good and light. There is a wasteland dominated by chaos, deceit, betrayal and evil. This area is Bone March. Between its vast dry plains, thousands of people are roaming the land just to survive from the orc raids and the bandit gangs. Despite this however, there is a spark of hope. The County of Knurl stands tall protected by heroes who are more than willing to spread the light of heroism once more. New towns are beginning to form and great men are bound to protect their freedom once more.
