Description

Publisher's blurb:

The Crimson Gold is a five part adventure designed for a party of four from level 8 to level 13. It is a direct sequel to The Fallen Crown, but can also be run standalone.

Jeziblan is at peace once more. The great city-state has had its government restored after a turbulent week, but as it opens up something is amiss. Suddenly vendors are flooded with a strange tinted coin, which appears to be solid gold save for the strange hue it turns when held up to sunlight. It is suddenly unclear whether or not the gold should be accepted, and as the Market begins to turn on itself, Guildmaster Serina Versidonia hires the party to figure out where the gold is coming from and whether it should be accepted. The coins do not appear counterfeit, exactly; in all respects but one, the reflected red hue, they appear authentic, if too freshly minted to be in circulation for long. Is infernal interference to blame?
