If you manage to navigate the dangerous shoals around Scavenger Rocks, or brave the toll road or other dangerous land routes, you may find yourself in Smugglers Cove, a haven for those spurned by society or lost at sea. A safe harbour often, but a dangerous place all the same. A place of treachery and monsters above and below the waves. Comrades that would risk their lives defending each other in a sea battle may very well trick each other of their ill-gotten gains when at shore. Sea monsters to swallow you whole, or tear ships asunder. Where troth might be very hard to find, yet somehow present in how these people live their lives and put their trust in the hands of their comrades, captains, and ships. Live free in a sense, yet better keep one eye on the purse and one hand on the hilt of your blade. Hopefully the code these pirates swear by will make things a bit less dodgy, or will it?
