As I was leaving FreeBoot Landing, I found myself staring in the distance at a great expanse of dunes that stretched out to the sea. I journeyed toward them, and upon reaching their location I realized that they were made of the finest sands I have ever encountered. I had been told that this region was called the BoneDust Dunes, and I came to understand why with that first grasp of its desolate sand. After trekking arduously through the sands for only an hour, I realized how difficult my journey was going to be if I did not secure a sound guide to lead me.
