The Daily Planet Guide to Gotham City is presented as if it was an actual guidebook available in the DC Universe game setting. Even the chapters have been credited to well known fictional chacaters as authors. The book reads relative to the fictional Gotham city as any guide book in the real world may relate to a real city.
While nominally for the DC Universe Roleplaying Game, system specific information is extremely minimal and found only in the 5 page appendix.
