Hello and welcome, adventurers and Game Masters!
This is a construct themed one-shot adventure designed for an evening’s worth of gaming adventure! This high level adventure is intended for 4-6 seasoned players of levels 12 to 16. A busy GM can drop this adventure into their current campaign with little to no preparation for a fast 3 to 4 hour gaming session.
SYNOPSIS: In this adventure your players will be hired by a half-elven woman named Perri Onwe, who employs the party to investigate a 2,000 year old cult shrine of the goddess Evalyn MacGuiness. This is no simple archaic holy place, however; it is in fact something far more interesting. For Perri Onwe believes that Evalyn MacGuiness was no goddess at all, but that she was actually a traveller from another realm who came to the land of Terrans aboard an advanced ship that could traverse the æther between the spheres! The sage’s research has convinced her there is a tome buried somewhere in The Dark Chanterie that will provide answers to her questions about the mysteries of travel through the heavens and the possibility of life beyond the stars! It is no easy matter to get these answers, however, for Perri knows it to be protected by fell automatons of immense power and she has discovered the shrine is protected by arcane magic beyond her ken Thus she has sought out the mightiest of adventurers to aid her in this quest.
Dare you enter The Dark Chanterie?
As this adventure requires a fairly power party of 12th to 16th level adventurers, a fully prepared group of pre-generated player characters is included for use by players. In addition, another set of two pre-generated non-player characters (NPCs) is included to assist the party in meeting the challenges of this adventure: Perri Onwe (FTR 7/MU 8) and her companion Cormac Jennings (CL12). This supplement contains a completely original ONE SHOT adventure, fully detailed and ready for immediate use with very little preparation by the GM or the players! The module introduces new magic items for use in your campaign, including the star helm, a device that is used in inter-spherical travel (e.g. space travel). Details on both the creation of these devices and travel within the heavens, by your players, is forthcoming from Starry Knight Press in an inter-spherical travel supplement to be released in 2020!
Inside this module you will find great Old-school art and detailed maps done in the Old School style. This module offers multiple levels to explore and each of these areas is described for you and keyed with challenging encounters for your players.
The module can be completed in a single 3 to 4 hour sessions, or if combined with some of our 40 plus other published modules, it can be part of a long story-arc spanning numerous gaming sessions!
