The Dark, Romantic, Extraordinary Adventures of Mary Sue (DREAMS) is a game about a specific kind of Mary Sue story. Go to a local bookstore and you’ll likely find them in the pages of books sorted as Paranormal Romance, Teen Fantasy, or Urban Fantasy. These Mary Sues live in a world just removed from our own; where vampires and faeries live in the shadows and our darkest nightmares lurk around every corner. But not all of the monsters are really nightmares. Some might be, but the rest are just misunderstood. Some may even be Mary Sues themselves!
