The Wizard’s Cabal appears glorious but it is made up of constant hard choices and unattractive tasks accepted under the pressure of Arcane Law. The powers in charge keep the people in a perpetual state of fear; keep them in a continuous stampede of fervor with the cry of the Arcane Inquisition. Always there has been some terrible evil to gobble us up if they did not blindly rally behind the Wizard’s Cabal by furnishing the exorbitant sums they demanded. Yet, in retrospect, these disasters seem never to have happened; seem never to have been quite real…until now.
