The phlogiston surrounds your entire being. You can see shades of it in everything from people to plants and animals. It dances off your fingertips, clouds your vision, fills your ears with a constant white noise, and gives you endless discomfort, like being tossed about on a ship. No one can explain why, but your physical being is woven into the phlogiston, and while you have failed in ridding yourself of it, you have adapted by sheer physical force and will to act on it, bend it, and shape it.
