Description

You are a stuffed animal, and in ordinary times you and your equally fuzzy friends are happy to devote your time and energy to bringing joy and comfort to the young human child that was placed in your care. But these are no longer ordinary times. It all started a few weeks ago - the child's sleep, which used to be peaceful, became more and more disturbed. Night after night, they would wake up in tears, haunted by all manners of Nightmares. Over time their fear became so great that even the softest amongst you could not coax them back to sleep.
The Stuffie Council then convened to discuss the matter, and decided to send a few brave volunteers on an expedition to the Dreamland. Their quest was clear: investigate the origin of the Fear corrupting the child's dreams and resolve it.
You are among the adventurous few who have chosen to board the Twilight Vessel, determined to explore the Dreamland and find out why Fear has been taking over the hearts and bodies of Dreamland creatures. During your quest, you are likely to encounter Nightmares - dream creatures that have been distorted by Fear. Battle them if you must, but remember that fear cannot be conquered by force alone.

The Dreamland Expedition is a whimsical, rules-light TTRPG in which players incarnate stuffed animals determined to get their child's nightmares under control. This RPG is built around Cezar Capacle’s excellent Push SRD, which puts a the emphasis on narrative. As such, dice are used for story prompts and to inject drama, unpredictability and excitement to the story without ever creating a dead end or non events.

Played solo, this game takes on the personality of a journaling RPG. As a group, it is a GM-less cooperative experience in which all stuffies play an equal role in bringing the story to life.
