Generations ago, a greedy and ambitious nobleman encompassed the doom of an entire valley, flooding it with the contents of a glacial lake, killing everyone and destroying the castle and surrounding village. Now that nobleman’s ancestor wants to claim the place — because there’s gold in them thar hills.
The adventurers find out about the Drowned Valley and make the dangerous journey to find it. Once they do, they must figure out how to get inside the vaults and deal with the traps and guardians. Once they’ve claimed the treasure, the noble ancestor turns up to take it away from them.
