The group of adventurers receives a letter from a desperate mother who recently had her husband murdered. The woman pleads for the group to come to the town of Odiare and investigate the case, promising a valuable family necklace as a reward. However, upon arriving in the town, something doesn't seem right: Several suspicious things can be found around the town, reports of sightings of small beings running through the city's alleys during the night circulate among the residents, the crime seems unsolvable, and the couple's daughter insists on repeating that Mr. Bear said her daddy was wicked. What really happened here?
