Enigmas are the embodiment of one concept: adaptability. They are infinitely flexible in both form and function order to be prepared for any situation thrown at them. As such, no two Enigmas are the same. Often not fixed to a single location, Enigmas blend into their surroundings, passing themselves off as native inhabitants to an area. They are a blank slate that draws both upon the power of the arcane and the strengths of martial prowess. Through this adaptability, they alter the course of change in the world around them, manipulating social
interactions and battlefield tactics to push fate in their favor.
Presented here is a 5e compatible class along with three subclasses; The Polymorph who is focused on shapechanging themselves and their allies, The Shadow who uses the magic of darkness to Stealth into difficult locations and best their foes, and The Charlatan, a versatile trickster that can charm their way to the top. These subclasses have different play styles but can be specialized through their selections of Differentia. Differentia are much like Eldritch Invocations with the player starting with 2 and eventually gaining access to 10 which can be changed on a short or long rest. These Differentia vary from using weapons in unique ways to casting high level spells and can be further amplified by expending Anomaly Points.
