Publisher's blurb:
Perhaps more flamboyant than the displays of the adventuring bard though lacking the bard's usefulness, exhibitionists are a common entertainment spectacle to be found on the crowded streets of urban environments. From sword swallowing to fortune reading, to juggling or even the offerings of poetry, and simple theatre the donations that provide exhibitionists their bread and butter come from the art of delivering cheap but profitable entertainment. These individuals may be found in any form and on any given street where the bustle of passing activity offers a hope of coinage. Puppeteers or handlers of small trained animals might stake out the chance of entertaining curious children and their parents while exotic dancers, teary eyed poets, and bold fire eaters cater to the interests of the grown ups. As the business of entertainment becomes distracted by the presence of competition more enterprising exhibitionists may be in cahoots with an assortment of common street rabble or even rogues in an attempt to secure exclusive areas for their open, public displays. Exhibitionists likewise do not have to necessarily be involved in a business that one would immediately see as being entertainment. Exhibitionists who con coinage out of the passers by through the preaching of false, fabricated religions or half written, wild eyed philosophies can also earn their living in a manner that is much truly similar to their more entertaining counterparts.
