The old farm owner at the farm you used to work at has agreed to rent out a bit of land to you at a discount. As part of the deal you must also provide produce for the restaurant he has an agreement with and provide some compost for the old farmer later in the year. In this solitaire standard deck card game, the player holds the deck sideways in their hand while placing cards sticking vertically out of the deck to dig plots (spades), plant seeds (clubs), care for crops (hearts), and finally sell them (diamonds) or compost them. Played over the course of 2 seasons (turns through the deck), the player must weigh choices carefully to ensure that they use their plots before they reach the top of the deck and don't discard too many of the cards they need to sell/compost enough to meet all the farmer's requirements.
