Description

The Fetterman Fight is a 2-5 player war game set in the 19th century American frontier. It pits Captain William Fetterman and his forces against the Native Americans. The game is also known as A Hundred in the Hands.

On December 21, 1866, 78 soldiers and 2 civilians under the command of Captain William Fetterman rode into the Peno Creek valley. The Americans chased a group of Native Americans, who had previously raided a local wood cutting party. Fetterman and his forces are out for revenge. Meanwhile, fifteen hundred members of the Lakota, Cheyenne, and Arapaho tribes greet his forces in an ambush. Was Pipe's dream of 100 soldiers falling into his hands about to come true?

This design from Martin Anderson includes an 8-page rulebook, 34" x 24" map, 254 die-cut unit counters, 1 ten-sided die, and 1 six-sided die.
