The Forgotten Barrow

Hilda’s Barrow lies on a strip of land along the northern shore of the Mikillvatn, at the edge of the forest. As trees and shrubs have rooted and grown upon it, it’s easy to miss that it is a barrow and not a natural hill when given a casual inspection. However, at the base of the eastern face is a scattering of earth around a hole leading into the hillside.
