This Gallery is an expansion to the Descent into Madness – First Steps mega dungeon, connected on the south side behind a combination-locked door in the Gibbering Forest. It is split into the Upper & Lower Gallery: The Upper Gallery is the part that remains in control of the Spectral Beetle Curator G’zhadu’un and his Alabaster Knights, whilst the Lower Gallery has been invaded by familiar yet alien creatures known as the Culinar. Both sections house many artifacts with myriad functionalities: some are benign or delightful, others are intensely hostile or deadly. The Alabaster Knights serve as security, attacking & arresting thieves & vandals. Stealth will be required to rob the gallery, until sufficient raw power is attained. The gallery is kept clean by jellyfish cleaning maids, and maintained by hovering meatball-creatures with many limbs.
The Gallery is constructed of smooth white marble, floors walls and ceilings. Lush red rug leads down the halls. The ceilings are held aloft by fluted marble columns with brass caps and archways, forming vaulted ceilings. Brass filigree runs along many edges of hard surfaces and doors. The entire gallery is well lit with a source-less soft white light.
