Description

Publisher Blurb:

Wilderness adventures - These are the basics of FRPG, right? Even if it isn’t the adventure itself, the player characters still have to get through it to get to the adventures. So why have they been sliding in popularity. Are wilderness adventures completely played out?

Of course not, but some of us GMs need some new inspiration, some new ways to look at the wilderness in order to bring back that sense of exploration. That is exactly what this book is all about! How can we make wilderness settings fun and challenging again? That all sounds great, but we also need to keep in mind that this needs to be doable without swamping the GM with more work than hours in the day.

Whether your first adventure was exploring some monster filled caves from a border keep or not, this is edition is going to bring you back to those glory days when role-playing games were new and exciting. This garrison is also in a border land and serves as a base where GMs and players can kick off their adventuring. But this time, things make sense. An adult can look at the setting and not immediately start pointing out the plot holes. Beware - You’re going to read this and immediately start playing or plotting out your next wilderness quest line.

If you’re looking for a ton of new ideas, ideas you can easily use in your existing game world or use to craft a new game world, then Small Bites is what you’re looking for. Our goal is to take a subject, whether an archetype, a monster class, or some other FRPG theme and bring you as much content about it as we can. But this isn’t a simple one-shot supplement. We want to get you involved in the process - giving us the themes you want most, the articles you like the best, and the feedback we need to make you happy.

This is the “World Walker” edition. The Game Master edition gives you even more, including ideas about campaigns, enemy characters, and world building. We know that veteran and starting players and game masters are all going to find things they can use, and ideas to spark their characters, campaigns and game worlds! Come on - You’ve got nothing to lose!

This supplement contains 22 pages of content, compared to the full (GM) version which contains 60 pages.
