The Glory of Rome

The Glory of Rome is a gladiatorial combat rule set by Dobbies Hobbies.

The Glory of Rome allows you to play the roll of a Lanista, the owner of a Gladiator school.

You control your own Ludis as you and your rival Lanistae vie for Glory and Riches in the arena.
The Glory of Rome is designed to play as a campaign of linked games in which your gladiators will improve or die off in the arena.
You may also play The Glory of Rome as one off games instead.
The Glory of Rome is a quick play rule set; a single match should last between 15-45 minutes, which allows you to play multiple matches in an evening.

Will you be able to grow your fledgling Ludis to one of the largest in Rome, or will you be lost to the sands of time?
