The Good Ol’ Hockey Game lasts 3 periods. During the game you will try to score more goals than your opponent. You have to shoot to score! But, you can only shoot if you have possession of the puck in your Offensive Zone.
Each period you will play your Player Cards trying to get closer to your opponents goal, in a series of puck battles. During a puck battle, you play cards facedown, hoping to have the highest total. The highest total wins the puck battle and moves one step towards the goal.
Use your 18 cards wisely as you balance going for the go ahead goal and saving your cards for later in the period. Perform a Line Change to save your cards.
If you run out of cards first your opponents will score as many goals as they can with their remaining cards!
