Welcome to the first issue of the Grey Papers. These supplements will offer alternate rules and concepts designed for the 1st edition of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game™. These rules are conceptualized from various sources then crafted to present something that can be implemented to an existing 1st edition game as desired.
This issue will present alternative feats to replace existing ones in an attempt to remove some of the burden of feat taxes within the system. Twenty new feats are presented that replace existing feats that build upon each other to such an extent that characters can easily spend over half their feats on them. The guideline used for these feats were feats such as Power Attack or Deadly Aim that grant the character additional benefits as specific tiers are reached.
This supplement is far from exhaustive in covering the plethora of feats found in the Pathfinder 1st edition game, but a simple taste of one take on handling the issue of feats and their requisite taxes as part of the design and mechanic of the game.
