Description

From publisher blurb:

Arlon was just a kid when his family got attacked at Wreckers’ Wall. They perished and he had to fend for himself while waiting to grow up. Later Arlon worked at adventuring, but never got to be the strongest guy ever. So he set up Heroes’ Hall, an inn, a school and a memorial to adventurers where he bolstered himself - others too - with medics and an alcove full of healing potions. Today Heroes’ Hall is a nice place to visit, but, BE WARNED, keep your hands off the displays. Uh, oh! Too late now. One of your party just swiped the Helm of Iverest and now he’s fixated on a quest for dragon armor. Looks like you’ve been roped in to find the Dragon Prince ‘cause friends don’t walk away from friends in peril. So – blessings on you. Go with god. Gear Up!

Toys for the Sandbox is not a module, it is not a campaign setting, instead it is a framework for GMs to use to reinforce their own imaginations. Sometimes players zig when you expect them to zag, other times they take your plot point into a back alley and leave it penniless and bleeding. Each week we present a new location with a map and some flavor text. In addition we add 4 NPCs with a bit of history and a few simple thoughts on how to stat them for whatever game you are playing. There are also 6 plot hooks each with 3 ways to twist them. Added to that there is usually a table or two filled with rumors and encounters.
