Description
From the description:
“Hiisi” is Finnish for goblin, as established in the Juva - Pennanen translation of The Lord Of The Rings in 1973.
The hills hide goblins. In big cities goblins form hives in the shadows and sewers, but in the wild they run from men, abhorred of what they might do. Something in the highs and lows of the landscape draws them. Perhaps it is the thought of removing themselves as far from humanity as they can. These hill goblins are known as hiidet (plural for hiisi).
From their hidden vantage points on the hills the hiidet spy on travelers. They can’t help but roll boulders and throw rocks at them, even if they manage to resist the urge to run down to murder the invaders.
