The glorious Battiatus Dynasty looks to be coming to an end for the Draconis State in the Hollow World. Empress Agnes IV is over 900 years old, and without issue. The House of Dukes is facing some concerns as the population has become restless for the first time in recorded history and the colonies are quiet and peaceful, the world seems to be topsy-turvey.
Still, something needs to be done. The dark dreams and restless compulsion seem to be infectious and increasingly relentless, all a bit of a bother, what? To this end, the House of Dukes have formed an expedition of their best and brightest to take a gander to The Influencing Enjin, a marvel constructed by Sir Godfrey MacGaffter half a millenium ago during the so-called ‘MacGafter Revolution’, which, - truth be told - slowly changed the face of the Draconis Empire forever into the benign caretakers of the Pax Draconis.
The 4 to 6 PC’s have been by the House of Dukes to solve whatever puzzle has caused this frightful condition and assure them of the peaceful change in the failing of the Battiatus Dynasty. The adventure is an explorational sortie into The Draconis Empire and is the first part of a linked adventure to be concluded in ‘The Complication Enjin’.
