Description

From publisher blurb:

A class that draws inspiration from various forms and genres of media to present a pact magic class rooted in authors, archivists, and other individuals invested in the written word channeling the power of a patron through their work, and writing into existence the spells and supernatural effects they have at their disposal. It is an exhaustive list of resources that can be used to run the class, and its content provides a unique storytelling device that can be used to explore less traditional character types.

Subclasses
The following are basic breakdowns of the subclasses contained within the product, referred to as Authorial Intents, which are based on various mediums and styles of writing:

Adventure - Authors who endow themselves with the characteristics of heroic figures from adventure stories.
Comedian - Knowing the utility of status exchanges and hubris, these casters manipulate the circumstances of others to their benefit.
Cosmic Horror - Writing of aberrant beings grants a multitude of otherwordly powers.
Fantasy - Inscriptors who draw inspiration from tales of superheroes and mythological figures, and channel their stories.
Forbiddance - Secret-seekers who can grant or restrict access, and wield all manner of forgotten words of power.
Historian - By applying categories and research techniques, these casters can change the qualities of those they face to their own benefit.
Mythology - Fanatics of mythological beasts and strange beings, who write them into being to aid their exploits.
Mystery - Observant investigators who always seem to be in the right place at the right time, and see what others miss.
Playwright - Inscriptors of this nature use stage directions and acting experience to control events around them.
Romance - Granting the power of love, friendship, and relationships a tangible form, these Inscriptors write of love and tragedy.
Vestias' Scribe - Inscriptors serving Vestias, who are granted powers evocative of their patron goddess of magic.
Wakefield - Those who allow the Correfont Wakefield into their minds, to create magical effects from their dreams and nightmares rather than their written work.
