This is expansion kit of the "Sengoku Gunyuden" series.
NB: "Sengoku no Ichiban-nagai-hi" means the Longest day of the Warring States (Sengoku) period.

"The Longest Day in Sengoku" covers the major battle of Sekigahara, popularly known as the Battle for the Sundered Realm. This kit requires all 7 series game map for play.

Four scenarios are included in this kit. "Campaign of Keicho 5" is a historical campaign game for all 7 series maps. "Ishida Mitunari's Dream" is a fictional campaign game with no use of betrayal rules. "Longest day of the Warring States Period" is a short game on the battle of Sekigahara and only requires map number 5. "Punitive expedition against the Uesugi clan" is a fictional short game on the Eastern army invasion of the Uesugi territory.

Each players control one or more clans. The clan's combat units are organized into troops.
The game repeats the game turn decided by the scenario. There are four action stages in each game turn. The number of stages where each troop can act is decided by commander's activation ability. In the action stage, each troop selects one action. The action that can be selected are movement, field combat, siege, moral recovery, reorganization and replacement.

The victor of the games is the player receives the most victory points. The victory point are provided by the control of the castle and the removal of the enemy units.

SCALE:
each map hex is roughly 6000 meters. Each game turn represents one week of real time; each land combat unit about 500-1000 soldiers and each naval unit about 200 ships.
